I have access to an iPod warranty, M9404LL/A, that is very old, however, never used. I have a friend that never activated it. My questions is can I use this on an iPod touch? I cant find an answer anywhere on this. thanks!

No because the warranty for iPod touch is specifically for iPod touch and classic, so you can't buy an iPod nano/shuffle warranty and use it on a touch. Plus the warranty covers you from the time of your hardware purchase, not when you activate it.

Ok I tried it and it worked. It was coverage for an iPod (not specific to model since there werent other models then). It also didnt matter when I purchased it as long as activated it within the first year. Thanks!

Did you activate on a 1st Gen or 2nd Gen iPod Touch?
