Looking for some help troubleshooting my problem.

I recently bought a 2018 MacBook Pro 13 inch - retina screen.

I connected my MBP to our church projector using a thunderbolt VGA adapter. Here's my issue:
1) I am able to project what's on my laptop...but...
2) There's a horrible green tint/hue on the projector screen. My laptop screen is normal but the projector shows everything with a green tint/hue

...thoughts?

Didn't work. I scaled down the resolution with no success. I still see an ugly green tint on the projector screen. :(

Returning my MBP. I wonder if these retina screen MBAs or MBPs are simply to high of a resolution to work with older VGA projectors.
