This is just such nonsense. They should be building better products and not stupid TV shows around these products. You want to do something for the shareholders? Make interesting damn MacBooks which people can buy. You want to do something nice? Make a better phone which people want to keep buying. Nobody cares if you do Planet of the Apps.

This is coming from the so-called celebrity influx into the company, whether it is through the Beats acquisition or Eddy Cue. I mean, look at Eddy Cue. The guy was hanging out at the playoffs when iCloud was burning. For six hours. You know, he wouldn’t have survived a day if Steve was around.

I’m sorry, that’s what gets me worked up about this company. They have all these wrong priorities. They want to do entertainment content? Buy damn Netflix and move on from there. Do it properly if you want to do it. Don’t try to do this stupid penny-ante stuff which adds no value to the company. Absolutely none.

This is where I see the company going wrong.

The only thing he's wrong about is Eddy Cue not lasting under Steve Jobs. Eddy Cue was at Apple before Steve came back and was one of his trusted advisors. Everything else though is spot on. This is why I contend Cook should hire an SVP to run all the stuff Eddy Cue has that isn't related to music/TV. Let Eddy run Music, TV and iTunes and let someone else run everything else. Maybe then iCloud, Siri and Apple Maps will become best in class and we'll see more retailers supporting Pay - because someone is focused on that, not stupid reality tv shows.

Old men that do nothing complaining about those who do.

Apple Pay is the #1 worldwide, and the Samsung pay catastrophic failure, and Android Pay a joke
Apple Music is also the #1 don't give me crap about Spotify and it's $1 per 3 months "premium" subscribers
The AppStore is the only App store that matters.
iTunes is also the only music store that matters.
Apple TV is running fine and according to the plan, and those unaccomplished idiots with like 1000 views or less on youtube don't get an opinion.

Apple is doing perfectly good on services, or else people wouldn't be using them. iMessage wouldn't be such a selling point, Apple Maps wouldn't be the only comparable alternative to Google Maps, those haters have nothing better to do than criticize Apple, and praise everything else, Apple Watch sells 20 million in less than 2 years, and it's a flop, Amazon Alexa sells 2 million in 2 years, and it's praised as something revolutionary.

All I see is people bashing Apple, but then never paid for a Google or a Microsoft service, and torrent their stuff IRL. "blah blah blah upload all your photos to Google Photos for free", "blah blah blah Google Play Music lets you stream all your torrented music for free"

Android Auto, for example, it's a failure, but they never touch it, few brands are supporting it, no brands are supporting it exclusively, while everyone supports CarPlay, if they didn't, they do now. Not to mention Porsche and Ferrari that aren't supporting Google, and Porsche let slid some serious bad PR about Google.

Those idiots also believe that Apple doesn't have exclusive content on Apple TV because of Eddy Cue shirt? That's the lamest thing ever, does Google have exclusive content? Or was their shirt? Does Microsoft have exclusive content? Or were them also wearing an Eddy Cue shirt!? It's stupid to ask for Apple to do exclusive content for Apple TV, because they would be competing with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Now, and others, it's ridiculous to pick a fight with everyone you depend on. But sometime this idiot reports like Apple was going to buy TW or making a label pop up, are imckdeibly false, and then the Apple-hating media (that is almost everything, and everything that this iditots read) makes another funeral story like that.

buying Netflix...if that happen, now that would be something instead of paying the outrageous amount of money to buy "Beats". Might have been a better investment...

People will forget about all of the complaining when (or if) Apple updates all of the mac line-up across the board and maybe a redesign on some models.

No accountability for complaining....talk is cheap. No one eats their words anymore, they just say: "Sorry" or "I did not fully understand". No accountability anymore.

Beats have already been paid off by now.

Netflix has a market cap of $39.48B and a staggering P/E of 289.45, they would NEVER paid themselves out.

Apple isn't some shoestring company that only has the resources to do one thing at a time. The guy on Twit has a small company perspective that you can do A or B well but not A and B.

The past few years the talking heads have settled in on "Apple is doomed because they rely too much on the iPhone and are therefore doomed" and ignore the other profitable parts of Apple. Meanwhile "Alphabet is great just because... " and fail to note that the only real money maker for Alphabet is thei tracking and advertising division. Even though it is fully loaded with ads now, YouTube doesn't make much. Google glass was a big flop. Their balloon internet system for the third world is grounded. Google fiber makes a little but only because the system in Utah was given to them on a silver platter. So after advertising, where is the future for Aplhabet?

Since everything is failing (Boston Dynamics loosing DoD contract, its boss, Andy Rubin doesn't even show up, Nest fiasco, their cloud business is minuscule, nobody even caring about YouTube Red), they are doing what they can: cut on expenses and fill YouTube videos with even more ads.

I never quite understood why Google gets a pass when they mess up. Perhaps it's because the general public don't get to see many of their failed projects. They only see mainstream applications like gmail, maps, Chrome and Android which are all free.
