Ok. At least the 5 minutes I have played with it has been:

iPhone Central Article

Direct Link

You will need your newsgater username (check netnewswire's prefs) and the password (they can email it to your here)

I have not tried syncing yet but so far I am loving browsing all my rss feeds on my iphone.

(i do hope they get rid of that left slide transition effect. its just too damn slow on the iphone.)

Try it out netnewswire users and post your thoughts!

This is fantastic. Thanks for the info. I already use NNW at home and the online site at work so this is perfect. The existing site worked with the iPhone but the layout wasn't very well suited the screen.

It is really amazing (to me.) to see all my feeds on my iphone. I thought the .mac reader was good but this is even better so far.

Ok.

First test. I went to two blogs on mobile.newsgator.

I read 2 out of 3 stories and used the link to "mark them read".

I then read 1 of 1 stories on a different blog and also marked it read.

Then I went to my mac and hit the "Refresh all" in Netnewswire and after syncing it did not show the three stories I marked as read above.

It worked.

Although sometimes (or a lot) you may not want to mark it read so you can still see it and maybe bookmark it on your mac later.)
