Don't mind me. I always wanted to post as a 12 year-old newbie. :D :p

Seriously, though, not sure why a member hasn't posted about this app yet on MR, as Touch Arcade has over 53 pages of orgasmic replies so far.

TOFTTers seem to think it's amazing, except this one gamer who thinks Fastlane is better (mouarf!). The trick seems to be to take off brake assist, so heads up. I am indeed downloading it as we speak, so I can't give an opinion yet.

Any first impressions?

Fastlane was the best, and it's been the most challenging racer I've tried yet.

Real Racing has just taken Fastlane's place as best IMO (can't compare to NSFU as I'm still trying to figure things out - why'd EA release a Japanese edition of Simcity that supports English but not an English supported Japanese Edition of NSFU?).

The graphics on Real Racing are well done, and it just feels more real and is more challenging from a driver's view. I've regretted buying a few racers, but this is definitely not one of them.

Recommended if you're into racers!

Touché. I think it has to do with the same bizarre concept of Spanish subtitles for American television shows, but no English subtitles for Sabado Gigante. :D

I just found this uploaded Youtube vid by a member on Touch Arcade (hope s/he won't mind). I have to say, the ability to upload one's races via Cloudcell is a major selling point for Real Racing.

Well I just bought it as well. First impressions after a few mins playing around? Awesome. really, really well implemented, especially with regards to the online profiles, leagues etc. Should definitely increase the life of the game.
The car handling seems good - definitely not as "on rails" as a lot of other iPhone racers I've played. As long as you turn the auto braking off, it seems incredibly responsive!

Yes, loving RR and the way the AI will fight you for track position. However, despite trying hard, I'm still 8 sec shy of the leader =:0

Current Ranking 124. Guess I'd best go practice some more.

Real Racing looks great, but I'm going to save my $10 for Forza Motorsport 3 :p

Bought the game a while ago. Tried it for an hour or so and am disappointed. Not coz the game is bad but coz I completely suck. I simply can't control the car well enough. I m over/under steering at almost all the turns. Think it'll be a steep learning curve for me. I liked nfs a lot better as I m a casual player and it was easier to control(and a lot more exciting especially with nitro).

But as far as driving sims go this seems like the best you can get on iPhone. The grafix are better than NFS and much more realistic. Hopefully I'll learn how to control the cars soon enough.

For arcade racing NFS rules, but for a much more realistic experience RR has no competetion for now.

Hate to rub it in, but after much dilly-dallying, I FINALLY got to play it just now. It's all that and a bucket of crisps. Three thumbs up.

I am a casual gamer, so I didn't know what to expect. I like NFS a lot, but RR is a proper track racing game quite unlike that one.

Awesome game. First legitimate racing game for it. The cars have complete control and dont steer for you at all. the handling is pretty damn realistic for and iphone, you actually have to brake alot.

I recommend taking off the brake assist and auto accelerate.
