Omg please help!! (Allowed website to access my computer, is this bad?)

Hi, I just went on a website and a message appeared asking if I agree for this website to access my computer, by mistake I clicked "yes"!!!!
How do I now get rid of this? Can they access all my files?? In "system preferences" I just disabled all services inn "sharing" apart from bluetooth as my mouse and keyboard are connected to it.
Will this be enough to stop that website from accessing my computer???
Oh and I changed my user password as well now

was it a pop up? If so don't worry about it, your getting a bit worked up. It takes alot more work then simply clicking "yes" on a pop up to access your entire mac. This isn't windows.

that msg popped out in the middle of the screen, as it's a file/music sharing site they could have accessed my files - i think

Thanks for help fortunately it is gone now as i've just gone on the site again and it asked me again and I denied it. So it's all good now. Thanks again :rolleyes:
 
Please tell me you're a woman(Sorry the sexism, but you know..) How can you legally own a mac and be worried about a thing like that? It was probably just a flash popup asking you, in which case click yes. And wait.. you clicked yes, freaked out and posted a thread.. and theeen refreshed the page. (which btw clicking no(orwhatever) Is not gonna change that much.) And wait you're scared about them accessing your files? 1. It's not like it can access anything. 2. If it could what was it gonna take.. do you have your passport scanned in? Are you scared they'll steal your novel about john the rainbow unicorn? They can get more information from your ip than they can from your computer.

Why the need to get offensive?
Not everyone owning a computer, be it running Windows or Mac OS X, does know all about it. Or why is there a virus scare thread almost every day, or how to get something back onto the Dock, or how to restore a deleted Mac OS X application?
This is a help forum, meant for people with knowledge to answer questions for people with less or almost no knowledge.
Everyone can have a computer nowadays, there is no license needed, which can be truly scary sometimes, but do you know how everything on this planet works? If so, I am truly astonished by your almost insulting post, as you didn't gain any wisdom due to your omniscience.

It isn't unheard of people to store documents of transactions concerning banks, merchants, mortgages, credit card companies as well as tax returns and credit reports on their machines, you know. Not to mention his collection of child pornography. ;) But seriously, just 'cause someone steals music or videos doesn't mean they have no valuable personal information on their machine.

@Everyone, sorry for that "offensive" post. I just went a little crazy... It's just i got my first mac by scrapping the last money i have, borrowing from my parents, picking pennies off the street and selling the iron buttons from my trousers (0,001$ an ounce). And just the thinking that someone who spent so much money on a mac, does it without some certain degree of knowledge. I always did not think that i am a kinda techy, so yeah. Sorry.

I was also gonna edit the post when i saw it had offended people, but i realized it had been quoted so there was no point.
