On Apple.com I only get in-store pickup option -- why?

same issue here, after i pick my data plan, i just get an option to reserve at an apple store, and it says says something about not being able to create account online. i can't reserve because the closest apple is too far :l

I was having that problem... I kept refreshing / getting back out and in until it came up again... of course adding to cart was a different story. Kept timing out or Oops.
