SWEET!

And my OWC memory is on truck for delivery today too. How about that for timing.

Now I can stop hitting refresh and start opening the door every minute or so, in case the door bell stops working.:D

OMG OMG OMG!

Its here!

Funny, was just telling my buddy, once it is on the truck for delivery they should get a GPS ID to track the truck... as soon as I sent the message, the doorbell rang :)

Time to make my official :apple: Switch :) BBIAB

Congrats! I definitely know that feeling; it's happened to me 3 times in the past 3 years. It's pretty awesome, especially the new Mac smell. :D

What model are you getting? I'm hopefully getting a 2GHz iMac or 2GHz MacBook within the next couple of weeks. It's my Christmas present though; gotta wait to open it up. :( But will be totally worth it! Have fun

Damn that was easy enough.

Already online. Damn it is big :) Yet have my desk back, had a big CRT prior to this.

I got the
24" 2.8Ghz
500GB Drive

and have 4 2GB Chips in route from OWC. Second set is for wifee's iMAC which should be here in two days.

Well guess I am gonna go ahead and upgrade to leopard. Came with Tiger and a Leopard drop-in. Ideal in my mind, this gives me two OS's.

This keyboard and mouse has to go though.

Just posted on the FedEx tracking "Out for delivery" Should be here by 10:30 at the latest. 24" 2.8, 2 GB RAM, wireless mouse and keyboard.

I plan on loading Leopard on the 24", then migrate from my 20" PPC all contents of the HD (20" already has Leopard installed.) One question...do I unplug my connections to my external drives and FW/USB hubs while doing the migration and then after the 24" has all the data, plug in the connections to the hubs to recognize the drives and other peripherals? Thanks

Sandman, what date did you order on again? Seeing as you got a Leopard drop-in disc, I just wanted to know how long ago you placed the order.

Thanks.

Let's see, I ordered it 7 days ago. Well actually it was 6 days since it was 1AM when I ordered it.

Leopard done, now to migrate date from my PC. Once I figure out best way ;)

i'm still waiting for an external hd caddy to arrive so i can get all my mp3s etc of the drives I had in my PC

Ha Ha - Well what about that, just as I was reading this post my door bell rang - iMac no. 4 has arrived!! Whoopeeeeeee!

I reckon everyone waiting on their iMac should 'rub the magic Sandman post' and wait to see if their doorbell rings :D
