On screen keyboard & bt issue

Hey there guys, help needed!

Well, the two parts involved : iphone 6 on 10.3.1 and sony bt headset bh54. When bt is connected, no on-screen keyboard shows up! The second I turn off the headset, keyboard is back to normal!
It has honestly driven me mad!!
Any possible solutions??

On-screen keyboard where? On any screen or any app that would have it?

Exactly, messages app, viber, safari, you name it! Nothing shows up!

So is it like it's treating your headset as a (bluetooth) external keyboard of some sort thinking you don't need the on-screen keyboard? Perhaps you need to remove the pairing and re-pair it all again?
