I want to order an iphone 12 pro but I have no idea what the difference is. I want to keep the same phone number but at the bottom it says all of them are unlocked anyway. I have verizon and have had the same number for years but always had my parents do it for me. Do I click verizon and order or can I just get the sim free one and it'll be the same thing?

Other On the apple website, does the carrier matter much for the iphone 12 orders?

On the apple website all of them are listed at $999. I've never ordered one on release day. Are these likely to be sold out and I should just try to checkout with sim free anyway?
