I've got an i7 iMac 4.00 ghz with a fusion drive 1 TB Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6.
I'm running a Boot Camp partition with Windows 10 installed.
I'm also running Apache webserver on the Mac OS.
Besides the recent news about the root password being blanked out fiasco I've seen a number of anecdotal evidence that this OS doesn't work great on fusion drives (so no new file system access).
I've also heard of people whose boot camp partitions have been wiped out or rendered unbootable.
Also, the last 3 updates I've had to go through an extended process of editing the httpd.conf file to get the apache server running the way I like it with inconsistent results.
I'm wondering for those who have upgraded knowing this if you'd recommend staying on Sierra or trying the upgrade after all?
