Ok - I know this may seem like a heresy, but I absolutely detest the On-The-Go playlist. I do not want it on my 'pod. When I got my replacement for my 30GB Video, it was on there. It is really annoying me and it will NOT delete.
I have tried searching for a way to get rid of the entire playlist - I deleted it from iTunes but it doesn't GO away when I sync my iPod to iTunes.

Is there any way to get rid of this playlist? I am not talking about deleting the songs inside the playlist. I am talking about getting rid of the actual playlist itself.

Thanks,
Kim

Do you mean when you go right to the bottom of the playlists list and it says On The Go?

And when you click on it (if you've just synced) it gives you a message telling you how to add songs to it?

I don't think you can get rid of that, it's not really a playlist, it's a feature.

Feature?

Seriously? How can it be a feature if it is not optional or even not so annoying?

If I wanted an on-the-go playlist, I would create one. This is so frustrating because it just sits there at the bottom and (believe it or not) creates an issue because it interferes with my ability to scroll to the playlist that SHOULD be on the bottom. Mostly because I have to be able to scroll all the way down with no visual. And scrolling up or down is not precise enough for that, so I need the bottom for my own stuff not some strange rotating iTunes thing.
