So, once we've moved our line to the eSIM, what happens if we have to restore the phone via iTunes or an "Erase All Contents and Settings" in Settings -> General -> Reset ?

I'm guessing that as long as T-Mobile doesn't remove the phone's EID from your line in their system, it'll be easy to add back manually using that address ( cust-005-v4-prod-atl2.gdsb.net ).

You're presented with an option to keep the eSIMs or erase them when erasing the iPhone from the settings.
From iTunes, the eSIMs are kept.

I had the $40 eSim T-Mobile plan on my line. I restored my phone last week and lost my line. It was not anywhere to be found when my phone restored and I was never given the option to keep the line before restoring.

T-Mobile was little help in helping me get the line back. I only had two days left on the month so I just let it go. I really didn't need the line anyways since I have a postpaid T-Mobile line.
