I have a 2009 with dual CPUs.

My iStatMenus reports that the 'A' CPU is running at 126F
While the B Tdiode runs at 102F

This disparity seems to be pretty recent.

Any suggestions?

Check CPU fan speeds and clean CPU heatsinks from any dust.

The fan speeds appear to be identical...not running real fast. I did a lazy ass inspection and cleared some obvious dust. They were dirty but not crazy so.

How much of a concern is this?

If booster fans for CPU A and B are 800-1100, then dust is not making much problems.

Suggestion? Stopping running your temp app.

Many EVGA video cards don't even spin up the fans until the core temp on the GPU is 60°. (That's 140° in colonial units.)

One of your CPUs is cold. The other is colder. There is no problem.

If they hit 80° (175° in colonial units) it's time to investigate.

Many threads on this subject. In a 4,1 or 5,1 Mac Pro, CPU A always runs hotter than CPU B due to it's location. Do a search and you'll see.
