When I got Panther, I didn't think it was worth the cost. Six months later, I do.

For one simple reason. Repair permissions.

In Jaguar, I needed to run RP almost weekly to ensure reliable operation.

I may have run it once since changing to Panther...

My favorite is journaling enabled by default. I would probably lose all data by now without that.

Repair permissions does help to take care of the system but I like the overall stability, now that 10.3.4 is out. Things just work, which is as it should be.

Definitely Expose for me. I get really frustrated when I have to use a Wintel machine and my middle mouse button doesn't show me all of my open Apps.

I like Expose and find it useful for comparing several open images and for quick access to the desktop. But my wife hates it and made me turn it off on her laptop! Weird eh?!

Expose'

Its crazy how once you use expose, its impossible to go to a machine without it. IT DRIVE ME NUTS!
truely one of the best apple inventions.
God i hope for something awesome in tiger.
