We need more details. One library for what software?
With NAS it is easy to provide a central place to store pictures accessed by multiple computers.
I am not sure if iPhoto plays nicely with a remote library that may change between times each computer sees it.

i really want to know this too as I have aperture and have to export projects into my mac pro when i'm on the go with my mbp.
