One library for two computers

Is there any way to use 1 library on a network drive for 2 computers to use?

We need more details. One library for what software?

With NAS it is easy to provide a central place to store pictures accessed by multiple computers.

I am not sure if iPhoto plays nicely with a remote library that may change between times each computer sees it.

Provide more details on what you are trying to do and people may be able to help.

I am using iPhoto and Aperture.

i really want to know this too as I have aperture and have to export projects into my mac pro when i'm on the go with my mbp.
