Alright, here's what I'm trying to do. I currently have a Windows XP desktop that I've been using a lot and a MacBook CoreDuo that I love, but don't use as much. I think the reason I don't use it as much is just the smaller screen. I've been thinking about getting a widescreen (don't think I'll ever go back) monitor for the MacBook when I move away from home, but just had the wonderful idea of doing it now.
What I'd like to do is get a switch and plug both my PC and MacBook into it, and be able to select which one I'm viewing on the monitor. I was thinking of this one, but not sure it is the right choice. I'm really looking for something for my MacBook (possible MacBook Pro in the future) that would be compatible with my PC. My video card is an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (with VGA output), if that helps any.
I was wondering if anyone has advice on a switch to use for this, or any other suggestions I could use.
