Okay so I did my unlock through AT&T and it says you can set it up with a different carrier by installing a new SIM card and following through with setup. The person that bought it said they put a SIM card in and took it to Verizon and it’s not able to be set up.

What the heck do I do about this? I absolutely have the unlock information showing it was done, and have send that, along with the instructions, to the buyer.

I’m frustrated, and doubt I’ll ever sell a dang phone again (though I’ve NEVER had an issue in the past), but I want to make this right of course.

What is the exact model of the iPhone you sold? What is the exact error message the buyer is getting?
If it's a 7 or 7 Plus with the Intel modem, it's GSM only, and won't work on Verizon.

The Apple sim free unlocked version of the 7+ will work on all 4 major networks: (GSM and CDMA). The AT&T and
T-Mobile models unlocked or otherwise will only work on GSM networks.
