Say, I just noticed that one of the little rubber pads is loose and goes *clack*click* if I tap on it and when I put it down on the table.

Just how are these things attached in the first place? Riveted? A loose rivet would do this. My MB is only a little more than three months old...it HAS to be perfect! :(:D

No, seriously, How are these feet connected to the chassis? Anybody know? They aren't screwed on by any chance?

One of my macbooks footpad is loose.

The footpads! Lame, lame, lame.

I have 2 Powerbooks and both lost footpads. I believe that the footpads where pressed on. No kidding.

You can try glue. But it never worked for me.

For both powerbooks I went out a bought new footpads.

When I got my MBP one of the first things I did was to get a set of footpads and I installed them right away.

Thanks guys. Thanks for the link. :)

I am curious how the originals are attached. Can't be an adhesive because mine
moves in its little 'pocket', but it hasn't come off.
