English is not my native language so I am quite confused about what Lower threshold and upper threshold mean.

What are the best values to set these on? And which base speed do you recommend?
Once I install FanControl I shouldn't be worrying about moving it again, do I? Should I uninstall it when making software updates?

Thanks,

Roco

Lower threshold = minimum fan speed, or slowest fan speed temperature
upper threshold = maximum or fastest fan speed temperature
the program will hold the slowest fan speed until you hit the 'threshold' temperature then begin increasing the speed, with the fans reaching maximum speed at the upper 'threshold'.
On my mbp they defaulted to 122f lower, 182f upper....oh and the minimum fan speed was 1500.
