One side of the speaker not working?

I just noticed that when I play music or when I use the speakerphone feature only the left speaker creates sound. Are they all like this or is mine broken or do I have a setting changed?

The other side is the microphone.

There is only one speaker.

The other thing is the Mic.

Ok because on the images on the apple website say that both sides are speakers. So the whole right side is just a microphone?

I wish I had heard it here first.

I made an appointment with the Genius Bar to find out that the other "speaker" is a microphone. DOH!
