Hi everyone,

For those who have multiple Macs / desk set-ups, because of the size of the new M4 Mini, has the idea of getting a specked out Mac Mini (or one Mini in general) for your multiple set-ups crossed your mind? Just buy an extra power cord and you can move around/travel with your mini?

I have done just that in the past. But I’ve also suffered from broken shells from keeping all of my eggs in one basket and made the conscious choice to keep two Macs. It is quite annoying to do so, as they’re never in sync and require a day to catch up but it lets me change what I have where - I am building two very different lifestyles at each location to help me focus on the relevant tasks.

It is a great idea, for most people looking to do that. Good luck!

edit: my MBPro had that task, it’s now my main desktop (with a mini at location two) and will be replaced with a Studio whenever the M4 models are released.
