~One specific area on touchscreen doesnt work~

Okay. i just recently got a new iphone. well, i was dissapointed to find out that the 4, 5, 6 numpad area doesnt work. in fact it doesnt work AT ALL in that spot no matter what i am doing on the phone.... this means i cannot call numbers with a 4 5 or 6. i also cannot access youtube, cannot select a network to get on the internet.. all because of this one small area on the phone not working.. i cannot take it to a manufacturer because i bought it from a friend. THIS PHONE WAS DOING THIS BEFORE I JAILBROKE IT. i dont know the cause of this. the phone is in great condition. PLEASE HELP!!!

you should just take it in anyways. apple should be able to do SOMETHING.
