Anyone using this App ?

I use it and like it quite a lot. It deals with the number you want to call somehow through Safari, and that creates a small delay. I don't find that annoying, but some do. It beats the heck out of a bunch of separate $1 applications to speed dial a series of numbers. And it makes calling much easier and safer if you are driving.

i did the download on this app....seems pretty sweet...

i have a whole page of speed dials now...wonder how it works though..does it actually pull data just to get the number ?

i see it uses safari thats why i ask...or does it just use safari for the intial set up...

i have it set up to ask me on each one call or text ....

Not sure how it actually works, but it isn't pulling data from anywhere other than your iPhone, if that is what you mean. I am sure I read that it doesn't communicate with any servers after its initial setup.

Just got my iPhone. Interested in this convience as I got spoiled with my shortcuts on my Treo keys. Which one is the one that is $1 per shortcut? I might use this for the 4 ones that I use all the time if it is quicker and then this for the ones I use less often.

The app store is full of speed dial applications. Dial 1, Dial 2, Dial 3, etc. Dad, Mom, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, etc. You get the idea. I think there are some free ones and others that go for $1 each. I search in the App Store for "speed dial" and got a pageful, almost all of which are examples of this kind of application. And I'm reasonably sure that isn't all of them.

I don't know if they are faster than OneTouchDial or not.

Thanks. The ones I'm having a hard time finding are the ones that let you make a shortcut to text someone quickly. The One Tap lets you do this but is slower then I would think is possible. Anyone seen a good app for this?

Try searching in the App Store for "fast SMS" or "fast text" and see if any of those meet your needs.
