I just got a new MacBook Air and literally every message has synced just fine except for 1 text message thread. It is from an Android user but other Android text messages are up to date. For some reason, this thread hasn't updated since about 2pm yesterday on my MacBook. New messages come in fine on my iPhone.

I've tried turning iMessage on and off on both my phone and MacBook but it's still not working.

Any ideas?

Are you using iCloud Messages (Settings > [name] > iCloud)? If yes, then this is unexpected - all message activity should sync via iCloud.

If you are not using iCloud Messages (and there are reasons to not use it)... Check Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding on your iPhone to be sure the MacBook Air is enabled.

That did it. Clicking on the Text Message forwarding. Thanks!
