One thing I can't figure out is how can Apple and their competitors can be up to their eyeballs in lawsuits against each other, yet Apple uses them to manufacturer parts?
Samsung is (possibly) the sole provider for the new Retina display on the iPad 2. (https://www.macrumors.com/2012/03/13/samsung-sole-supplier-for-retina-display-in-new-ipad/)
Is it just that Samsung will make so much from Apple, that they are able to put those lawsuits aside? Also with Google Maps being used, I know Apple is trying to steer away from it, but couldn't Google just pull the plug on Apple from using its Mapping? They too seem to have a few lawsuits against each other.
There are a few other examples, I just forget what they are right now....but you get the idea.
