Currently use Amazon Photos as my second picture backup, in the event iCloud fails.

Maybe I am a sucker for punishment but recently heard that the Onedrive iOS app finally supports live photos but only through their app only - you still cannot view if viewing via computer online.

Copying via laptop works but of course the live photos do not come over.

How do I ensure I do not delete my pics currently stored in iCloud while at the same time uploading them to the iOS app?

I have done that but for whatever reason it only seems to grab maybe 100 pics and i have over 5k of them.

If I have photos already in my camera roll on my iPhone and install Onedrive, will it backup the existing photos I have on the roll OR only those I take with camera from the time I install it onward...?

So far it only shows it has downloaded approx 50ish pics. Is this because there is so many pictures it will take time to upload them all? All it says is "Up to date".
