I know that the pre orders went really bad, so they had to extend it but people still couldn't order some of their phones
But before you buy, you might want to ask someone about the phone and their point of view of them using it!
I know this may seem self centered (me bragging about my phone) but I just wanna help before you guys buy it!

So ask questions and hopefully I'll get back to them!

And genuine question for new buyers: since it's no longer a flagship killer, why do you choose this over the Nexus 6, Note 4, 6+, etc? Still price?

Price, and cyanogen mod. Plus, the screen isn't all that bad.

How is the build quality? It seems the sandstone black didn't hold up very well to guy's OPO in that SIX MONTHS LATER video. He also hated the faux metal plastic. Oppo tends to overprice their products with plastic phones themselves.

Does it overheat alot? Snapdragons are known to do this more than MediaTeks. Check Du Battery Saver for the batt temperature. I prefer Du over GSam because of their notification sounds after a full charge and more accurate screen on time.

What's your typical SOT per day?

Also in the CM themes app, can I get the really cool LG lockscreen found as back as the Optimus G?

It still looks like the day I took it out of the box. My mum's looks a bit grey but she's known to abuse her phones, haha.
It doesn't heat up a lot but then again I don't play many over intensive games and I've underclocked the cpu for some dumb reason I'll never remember why.

My son is normally 6 1|2 hours. And yes, I've seen that theme.

You'll love it. Mine has a bit of yellow but it's still a killer device. Flashed so many ROMs and it never lags no matter the task.

Not seen anything close for the same money aside from the Mi4 and IUNI M3 but they're harder to get outside of China.

price would definitely be the main factor (half for at 64GB version).

I do hope OnePlus goes smaller for its successor, the OnePlus Two or whatever they will call it.

If I had to choose between this One vs HTC's One (M8), I like the design of the latter but the lower price of the former and longer battery will probably will win out at the end. Design and build quality don't mean squat to me if the functions and performance are poorer in certain areas (weaker cam, shorter batt life). Substance over style. That's why most iPhones don't appeal to me no matter how pretty they are. I don't like a crippled OS.
