OnePlus Watch will be ready for purchase today.

From the reviews I've seen, it's limited in features and closed off. But the price and battery life are huge pros.

For the price I would have considered it, if only it had AOD.

2 things. Michael is an awesome reviewer. 2. I was NEVER a fan of one+. This watch is just one in another of a long line of comprimises with one+

Add to the failures: you have to have an Android device to control it.

Apple can get away with that because they did it first. One+ are too small to pull the same stunt.

I was surprised the watch made him miss Android Wear OS. I personally can't stand Wear OS. It's like going back in time when Android itself was buggy and drained battery.

The last update made it MUCH better. I am bored with my apple watch as I am with all my apple products. It's the same, no customization, no changes. just blah.

Gizmodo gave an absolutely scathing review of it. From all looks, avoid it like the plague.
Just like everything one+. From shady business practices with people's credit information, to hidden data scraping in the OS to shoddy products that never live up to the hype. I shall not touch an one+ item with a 10 ft pole.

Saw two reviews today and both said something along the lines of...this may be the worst smartwatch I've ever used.

Like my AW4...

But if they give me one I will try it out if I get the 9+Pro ...
Only watched a couple of reviews, one was "meh" and the other was "not bad". Best one so far on what you could do with it was Unbox Therapy.
The battery life and recharge rate are eye catchers.

No plan to get one.

Pretty well every other smartwatch in the market now has much better battery life than AW. Again, the customization of every other watch compared to apple is a big plus too.

I had the OG OnePlus One - great phone, but terrible with updates. Years and years later I tried a OnePlus 7 Pro again same story with updates. If there’s a bug that comes up that is really annoying you’re SOL... would not recommend again. Same goes for the watch so if they promise features to work in the future I wouldn’t bother waiting.

Typical BBK. This is why I'm avoiding Oppo/Vivo/Realme despite their alluring offering at times (eg. the Vivo with gymbal camera). They literally never upgrade the OS of their mid rangers and under, and even their flagships only get maybe one upgrade at best. And they're not that cheap either compared to the likes of Xiaomi.

That's why you pay more for samsung and pixel in the android world. You get reliable updates, security patches and customer support.
