Online Flash Training

I've been doing a lot of flash off and on for quite a few years. I have a degree in CS and did a lot of C++ on Unix back in the day, but after this stupidity I realized that there are some nuances with AS programming that I'm not aware of just yet. I'd like to learn some more Advanced AS stuff, XML, OOP, of which I've just played around with.

So does anyone have any recommendations? All the flash I've learned is from buying a book, going through it and applying that to things I need to do. I can continue that way, but since I'm also looking for a job that uses flash, having some accreditation would be good too.

I recently discovered http://www.lynda.com/ and found their tutorials pretty decent. Safari Online offers access to (a subset?) these for a yearly fee.

I have used lynda.com on several occasions and found it everything it says it is. The videos are clear and easy to follow, everything is well covered for $25 a month well worth the money.

Lynda is good for training, but they cost. If you're looking for free tutorials, http://flashkit.com/ is a really good website for flash/AS. Also http://library.creativecow.net/tutorials.php creative cow has some really good tutorials for Flash/General web design/After Effects/Final Cut etc...

Try www.cartoonsmart.com as he has lessons for AS and other flash lessons as well. Also he just added lessons for Blender I bought some of his lessons and it helped to see the outcome while learning as it's easier for me to learn visualy
