Hey guys

I recently got a mac and i was wondering about some online gaming, i had a Sony Viao and i did a lot of gaming on there such as (lol), W.O.W, anything that was a mmorpg i almost tried it out... i got steam on my mac but am only playing TF2.. i want to play guild wars but that i can now get on a mac either... does anyone know of a mmorpg i can play that is free or one i can buy, but preferable not P2P?...

This is random but does anyone know if Guild Wars 2 is playable on a Mac yet??

Thanks guys!!!!

Warhammer online is free now and supports mac. (Not the PVP wrath of heroes tho).
Iron Grip and Spiral Knights are free and on steam, both online games.
Nd you have HoN, which is p2p but free and on mac too.

Thanks man, i prob will try war hammer then, I'm looking for something like wow, or guild wars, i hate p2p it makes me mad i had to keep paying to play the games, also spiral knight sucks, and same with iron grip but ty for the suggestions if anyone else has anything else they know of, please let me know! :)

THANKS :)

City of Heroes works on a mac and is totally F2P with an option to subscribe, much like LOTRO

Warhammer Online is not free. It just has a free trial, not the same thing. To play the full game you have to pay.

Oh, they claim they have went play for free on their site.

I haven't played it tho, so it might be misleading commercials

Yeah, it's a bit misleading. You can only play up to level 10 or so i think, and if you want to advance, you'll have to subscribe. There is no time-restriciton on how much you can play in the lower tier though, hence the "forever free". It would be awesome if they made the whole thing f2p, then I would consider giving it a go.

OP: You might want to try Red Crucible 2 if you're looking for free 2 play games. It's sort of like battle field, but free. It can be downloaded on the Mac app store.

hey guys ok so umm i want to play a f2p mmorpg, and war hammer as you say you only get to a curtain level and thats it? thats stupid the hole site says F2P it should be full free to play, thats stupid i should complain about that, I'm sure if it starts f2p it will soon become a full game of f2p, anyone know anything else? is guild wars a mac game?

No guild wars for mac, and it's not any news about it coming either.

Guild Wars has Platinum rating on winehq, which means it runs close to perfect, so if you're the experimental sort, you could try that out.

ever gay, so i can't find any game for the mac other then Tf2 and I'm really getting bored of this game, i want a game i can play that mmorpg and lots of people play it :(

first of all, mac's aren't for gaming... so you are limited.

although the two best companies for multiplayer games support OSX.. that is valve and blizzard.

you can play counter-strike, team fortress, portal, left 4 dead, day of defeat and you can play starcraft/warcraft and diablo.

as for an mmo that isn't warcraft, your best bet is eve online

that's about it for mac gaming, unless you count casual gaming like peggle, bejeweled and such, steam has a lot of those, so does facebook.

once you get older, you'll stop playing lots of games, and the ones supported on mac osx are the best ones anyways, so it doesn't really matter.

learn to play your limited games, they're the best any ways. so keep this in mind...

valve, blizzard, casual or eve online... that's your choices

have fun
