Using the ACASIS Thunderbolt3/USB4 nvme enclosure, my Write Speed is okay half of my Read speed with the 2TB WD Black SN750 SSD. As you can see from the attached photo, I am getting about 1250mbps Write compared to 2750mbps Read. Now, I have read that the 1TB Black SN750 SSD is able to get matching Write speeds, so the ACASIS enclosure should be capable, but can anyone share news of better write times for an alternate 2TB nvme SSD? I’d love to return my Black and grab something better. Thanks for your time.

I am getting 2200 write 2400 read on a 1TB SN750 inside a WAVLINK UTE01, to a MBP13" 2018. Maybe your ACASIS just somehow does not play well with SN750?

Halving bandwidth in just writing sounds to me something isn't working right.

If your budget allows, I would get a Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus. Assuming your enclosure isn’t a major limitation, the SSD can do up to 7100 read and 6600 write (PCIe G4) or 3500/3300 PCIe G3. Name brand wise you’ll want to look at the Samsung 980 Pro line.

SN750 is one of best SSD models that have very sustainable speed. I use a 1TB SN750 with a "Nekteck 480GB Thunderbolt 3 SSD NVME Hard Drive" which I replaced the internal 480GB drive with the SN750. I get read/write speed all above 2400MBps.

Following image comes straight from the "ACASIS Official Store" at Ali Express. They also have an "ACASIS Factory Store" at Ali Express. (For obvious reasons I'm not posting direct links.)
Looks like the 2TB Samsung 980 Pro and 2TB Seagate FireCuda 510 are NOT your best bet. But the WD SN750 you already have.See last line under the table. Why not contact them on Ali Express?

EDIT: This Reddit post might interest you : M1 Mac mini with Samsung Evo 970 + Avolusion SSDTB900-PRO Thunderbolt 3 (40Gbps) A different enclosure and just 1TB SSD connected to an M1 Mini with great speeds. But also check the links to screenshots of results with other benchmarks, posted by the OP in the comments.

Did you ever get this sorted?
I have a 1TB WD Black SN750 (from February) and the same ACASIS enclosure. My Read/Write speeds were great, around 2,600MB/s.

Today, I picked up a new 1TB SN750, same as my original, but the write speeds are horrible - only 900MB/s. I even have two identical ACASIS TB3 enclosures, but the Write performance is bad in both. I tried different TB3 cables, different PCs, etc. Same bad performance on this "new" drive regardless of benchmark or macOS/Windows.
