Only getting calendar updates if I open the calendar app...

I only get calendar updates (like when my wife adds something to our shared calendar) when I open the calendar app. It looks like I have all of the settings correct. She'll get a banner 10 seconds after I add something but I get nothing unless I open the app.

Any ideas why?

On what service is the calendar and how is it shared?

Have you checked (in settings) if the account is set to retrieve new information using push or fetch or just manually?

Same here for me, I have the 6 and use Fantastical 2, she has 5s and also uses F2 but I don't get notified until going into the app
