Only one speaker works

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with only getting sound through one speaker? This is currently my third iphone due to cracks in the housing and I was really hoping not to have to get it replaced. Has anyone b een able to fix this problem or is it most likely going to require a trip to the apple store?

The "speaker" on the right is actually the mic. iPhone only has one speaker.
