Wondering why my Intel 330 only runs SATA 150 in my MP 2008. It has latest firmware... I´ve just tried with a brand new Intel 335 which shows same result. That also runs with latest firmware.
My Samsung 830 and Seagate both runs SATA300...
Bought the new 335 in order to run RAID 0 - seems like the will be no befit before I get my hands on the Sonnet Pro PCI-e, unless you guys knows a fix.

Both 330 and 335 share the same SF-2281 controller (520 too). Drives based on it do have link speed negotiation problems with older SATA controllers. It's common thing with MCP79 + SF2281 drives for instance.
Fix is to use SATA 6 PCIe card or move on to another known working SSD.

Shame on SandForce  But, I´ve actually seen it run SATA300 a few times. Might have been before last update (OS X).
Google search indicated a "thing" with MCP79, but I thought that was only for MPB´s - my MP has an Intel Chipset

I´ll set up the RAID during the weekend, and then order the Sonnet Pro in order to reach the 8-900 Mb/s.
