The app can implement that, but otherwise there's no option to force that on an app.

I'm very curious what the use case for this would be. The entire phone is encrypted, and requires a passcode/fingerprint to access anything. Why would you want additional codes per-app?

I don't want someone to open specific apps on my phone. For example I want to let someone use my phone and play with it for example a child, but don't want the kid to open a specific app by mistake.

I think a better implementation would have been a guest mode where you can hide apps altogether and apply restriones specifically for that account.

Some apps require Touch ID to open them individually ... and some apps also require a password or short code to open them. It would nice if Apple allowed this, but it's up to the developers to allow this option at the moment.

Yeah mos def. Thought of that before and always wondered why they never had it like on OS X. So easy to implement.
