ONLYOFFICE Documents is a free iOS application for viewing and editing documents.

With the current version (1.3) you can

  • View and edit text documents (iPad/iPhone).

  • View and edit spreadsheets (iPad)

  • View pdf, presentations and other types of files

  • Manage all of your documents stored in the cloud.

To use the application you need to have ONLYOFFICE portal. If you don't have one, you can easily create your personal portal right from the app, it is also free. Different cloud storages (Google Drive, One Drive, ownCloud, Dropbox) can be connected as well.

The application is available for download from AppStore.

P.S. And a short video about what our text processor is capable of:

P.P.S. 100% compatible with MS Office formats

It looks nice. Does it have the below features?

- open files from cloud storage and save them without downloading the file to the app itself first and then open the file there and re-upload to Dropbox?
- can you copy a file from cloud storage to your local device (your app) if you want?
- does it have support for Slide Over/Split View?
- does it support showing two documents side by side without iOS9 Split View (so on older iPads and iPhones)?

Thanks : )

1. I'm not sure that I understood the question correctly, but: To open the file you have to download it to the app. Then, after you've made some changes and saved them, they will be uploaded to your document stored on Dropbox. You won't have to re-upload the document manually, if that's what you're asking about.
2. Sure! We have Download button in context menu.
3. No, but we are going to add such a function in future.
4. Viewing - yes. Editing - no.

If you have any more questions, I will be glad to answer them!

Any news concerning:

Unfortunately, we don't have such features as Slide Over or Split View.

About supported formats - we have maximum compatibility with OOXML formats (docx, xlsx). We can work with doc files as well, but we have to convert them to docx before editing. To work with Google Docs or Apple Pages file in our app, you'll have to export them to docx (for editing) or pdf (if need only viewing).
