Hello,

I bought the 12.7 iPad Pro and the Apple "smart" keyboard yesterday. I set it all up and it worked fine.

This morning I was trying to use it and the onscreen keyboard kept popping up, which made the Apple smart keyboard inoperable.

I Googled and the answer from Apple support was to remove the iPad from the keyboard and restart, which I did and that didn't help.

Apparently a lot of people have trouble with this keyboard but the Logitech one apparently has issues as well.

Do you guys/gals have any suggestions or should I just return it and get an "old fashioned" Bluetooth keyboard.

I love the Apple keyboard case. It is beautifully designed ... but it just doesn't work like it should.

If you like the keyboard from Apple, go into an Apple Retail Store and have them check if it’s the iPad or the keyboard that has the issue.
While the Logitech Create case cannot be recommended the Logitech slim combo is pretty good in my opinion.

Just wanted to follow up. The next morning the keyboard worked. Then quit. Its unreliability was annoying and I ended up returning the iPad Pro along with the keyboard and pencil. I will wait and see if a newer model to come works better with the Apple keyboard case.

I'm having the same issue, I read on other websites that it's a iOS11 issue although I've had iOS11 for a while and never had this problem.
