I currently use an app called 'Speed Dial' to create icons on the Springboard, that allow me to tap a contact's picture to dial them.

But now, I have 1 page for my favorites to actually call them and another page to send them a text message.

Is there any way to tap a person's icon so that it opens their Address Book card? So I can choose to call/text/e-mail that person from there (rather than creating different Springboard pages per 'action')
Or maybe an option that I can select what I want to do after launching a person's icon ... call or text?

Hope that makes any sense.

Make sense, your saying you want a picture of a person : as an icon, so when you click it you will have there info right there.
Um from what i know i dont think that have that.. I hope they do and im wrong but i dont know anything like that yet.

good post maybe someone knows about it and this would be a cool add on

There is an App in the iTunes store called "iFavorites" (0.99) you might want to look at. It's not exactly what your're looking for, but it might get you close for now until you find something else. Page two of the App screenshots looks close to what you are looking for.

Good luck...

Edit: After reading the description in the iTunes store, it actually sounds more and more like it might be what you are looking for. I might just get it for myself!
