Understanding the question correctly: You ask whether your OS X computer connected to a wired LAN is able to retrieve information of an OD sevice which is available over a wireless LAN?

The answer is a simple Yes, that is possible. Even in the revesed situation (computer to wireless and OD on wired) it remains possible. But it al has to do how those two networks know about each other.

Thanks that was the question i was asking,

As i am doing a school project on geting laptops

and i thought on apple and there server costs, and what not,

its only 600 for unlimited server, unlike windows where you pay for every user, and thats lame,

But my school does have an apple server for the emacs but for some reason our ibooks are not linked to the server

But thanks so much, as i am think on doing this
