You probably have to have a minimum post count of 250 and 6 months as a member to post one, just guessing, b/c I'm not sure, but I know that applies to other types of things on this forum.
On iOS 7 everything is bright colors on a white background...
I have an app that draws a kind of chart. I chose orange, red, and blue on a black background. I got user complaints about it being hard to read. I've changed it to red, blue, and grey on a white background for iOS 7.

How about both ... Controlled by time of day.
In day time you show the bright white; in night time the more eye-friendly black-background. Will do that for my app.
I had the same issue and couldn't decide on white or dark and choose grey ad middle way. Looks ok with white text and orange. But I'm also looking for further alternatives.
Maybe try also a light gradient in your white version to fill the graph.
