Hello, I have set my mac os x yosemite set to dualboot with ubuntu 15.04. When using ubuntu it is very easy to acces my files on the macintosh partition. But when I try to acces ubuntu files from os x yosemite I cannot find how to do this. Thanks in advance,

Frank

I used the workaround on that page, and now I have my Ubuntu partition viewable under the name 'Guest' but the folders are all acces denied...

Since it is being mounted as networked drive, you need to make sure the credentials you use to access the files on the ubuntu partition are the same as those you would use to login to that partition/OS. Access Denied messages are normal from a guest account when you are trying to access files in a password protected user account.

If it says "Connected as guest" go to the far right of that window, click "Connect As" then select registered user, then enter the credentials of the account you wish to inherit the permissions of.
