I'm trying to boot Leopard off a USB drive on my Early 2004 iBook G4. Using the command:
boot usb1/disk@1,\\tbxi
I receive the following information:
load-size=0 adler32=1
LOAD-SIZE is too small
ok
So, I ask, what exactly does this mean? My machine is equipped with only 256 MB of RAM, do I need to upgrade to 1 GB? I'm using a 32 GB Thumb Drive so surely it isn't that. Using a DVD is not an option.
How do you change the load-size to be something else? How the hell can I even boot Leopard? I've tried A LOT OF COMMANDS but this particular command is the only one that produced the load-size error. Everything else produces a "Can't open device or file" error.
Any help you can offer is appreciated, I'm trying to get this iBook running asap!
