First time MacBook Pro owner. Still need to run Vista but can seem to find newer driver for ATI Radeon that supports OpenGL needed to run critical demos; any suggestions? Will ATI Catalyst 7.4 work on MacBook Pro? Tried to get ATI Omega Drivers working but was not successful. Any help appreciated.

PS In Windows/Vista you can permanently delete files using "Shift Delete" but the "Delete" key on MacBook Pro acts more like backspace, what's the "Shift Delete" equivalent for the MacBook Pro? Thanks!

I'm not sure if you're asking about Windows or OS X in the first example. If you're asking about OS X, you don't need anything extra. OS X supports OpenGL out of the box. If you're asking about Vista, I don't think I know what you mean either. I installed the Catalysts on my version of Vista and haven't had any trouble w/ OpenGL apps.

Cmd+Delete = move files to trash. Cmd+Shift+Delete = empty trash. There is no "instant delete" shortcut.

clarification of earlier post

Sorry I wasn't clear. I am running Vista on the MacBook Pro. The only driver for the ATI Radeon seems to be the one from Apple, and that does not seem to have Open GL support. The driver is dated 8/25/2006 and is version 7.14.10.8333; is there a newer driver and if so, where do I find it? Thanks!
