Has anyone noticed an "open in" maximum of 10 apps? I suppose there's no workaround. I had to delete an app to open a file in my usual storage location (Readdle) but I didn't want to delete any.

The problem is not that I need to be able to open files with 10 different apps, but many apps get added to the "open in" list automatically, pushing out others.

Very annoying, I think you have to wait until iOS 4 to see if Apple will change at least a little the way the iPad manage files.

Please go to apple.com/feedback and leave some.

Are all the apps that are adding valid ones or are any stupid, for lack of any other word? I don't have that many yet, but thanks for the heads up!

We obviously need to be able to manage this somehow.....

Well, while working with a document in Filer I noticed Filer is one of those 10 apps I could open it into. I.e., it lists itself. Other apps appear because I keep them for occasional use or until a future update improves them (QuickOffice and Docs2Go, for example).

This must be the only case in which the purchase of one app can affect the use of another.
