In a previous thread, I was mentioning few Windows stability issues I encountered, running on a 5,1 Mac with OpenCore bootloader. After latest Windows upgrade, performed few days ago, the entire system is very stable and all Bluetooth issues are fixed. I can finally switch easy between Windows and Big Sur, without losing Bluetooth.

I intend to use the Windows setup for my work-at-home office, which requires a very stable system. The Windows software I use cannot run in Parallels or VMWare. I'm wondering if I should buy a cheap Dell XPS and have a separate Windows system, or just rely on current Mac setup which has better specs. The reason I'm looking at Dell is because they offer a configuration with a Radeon RX 5700 8GB GDDR6 for a ridiculous low price.

I'm simply trying to save some money and invest the cash that I would normally put into Dell XPS, into a new Mx Mac Pro. Thank you for your input.

Hi.
I installed windows 10 in my MacPro 4.1 > 5.1 following the Opencore guide here.
After Installing some updates from windows I can not boot anymore from Opencore Picker. It is frozen from the very beginning. I don't know how to proceed in order to reestablish the booting. Windows starts in Windows repair process but it doesn´t work. I don´t have any useful recovery point. After that It try to unsuccessfully boot again and so on
What can I do?
Thanks?

Is a common issue after upgrades, all you have to do is reboot 3 times. Latest win two upgrades fixed the issue for me, I did not experienced it anymore.

I couldn´t boot windows after more than 3 times in a row, following your advice. I have undone latests windows upgrades just starting in "safe mode with networking". After that undoing process I can boot again.

Undoing updates with the specific option inside windows repair was unsuccessful too.

Thank you @TECK anyway
