hi, I'm trying to install an updated version of macos on my mac pro3,1 running dosdude's high sierra patch.

MACpro3,1 early 2008

CPU 2X2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
RAM 24 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
SSD
Graphic: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2048 MB

I successfully installed catalina by dosdude but i can only see one of my screen......i've attached 2 HP monitors to my macpro... problem that I don't have on High sierra...
Question... Can I update to Big Sur with opencore legacy patcher ? or a newer one, but still have a functional computer?
I use it primerly with photoshop and illustrator.
Thanks 🙏

thank you for the answer. big sur was too laggy.
I 'm trying Catalina, but I have a problem with the second monitor...it is not detected... while, when running high sierra patch ... there was no problem.
Any suggestion? What could be the cause?
Thanxxxx

The DVI port of several GTX 680 models stopped working after Mojave, while others have only one DP port working, mixed bag.

Did you tried using the HDMI or DP ports instead?
