MP 1,1-5,1 OpenCore low Geekbench 5 GPU score rx580 Mac Pro 2009

Hi guys!

I just switched from dosdudes Catalina to native Catalina with OpenCore on my Mac Pro form 2009 with dual Cpu.
But I get really bad GPU scores of my Radeon RX 580 8 GB.

When I Geekbench 5 Gpu with metal in dosdude's catlina (or Mojave) I get a score of 48900 but in my fresh install of Catalina I get 27264.


I also tried RadeonBoost.kext but it didn't change the performance noticably.
I've put it in EFI/EFI/OC/Kext just like the other ones.

I've included my config.plist.

I don't know what to do now?

It's a Catalina thing. After a low score, try sleeping the machine, and then run the benchmark again.

Hi. If it can help my Radeon RX 580 8Gb in my cMPro 5.1 (from 4.1) dual CPU in Catalina with Opencore 0.5.9 gets 50.182 GPU score in metal computer API.

Hi. Same experience here, however, HW acceleration does work in chrome, the Radeon RX 580 8Gb is idle at 300 MHz watching a 4 k video.

Actually right after the wakeup it does work, a couple of minutes later, I get the low score again (50% of the "normal" score).

Unfortunately no, however it does work under Mojave, though.

I'm seeing this behavior with Monterey (12.1) on my Mac Pro 5,1 with Radeon RX 580, and sleep made it better, but very puzzled.

That's because Mojave is officially supported on a cMP.....
Running unsupported OS's is asking for problems.
