I'm looking into learning OpenGL and I have been looking for a book on Amazon that has good reviews and I thought that I might ask the MR community for their input on which book is best. Thanks.

Personally I've found the OpenGL(R) SuperBible: Comprehensive Tutorial and Reference to be very good. I have the 3rd edition, but a 4th edition is available now.

The official OpenGL website has a nice book section.

I constantly use the official reference manual, but it is also available free on their website. This book is often called the BlueBook.

The official OpenGL programming guide is another nice book (RedBook). It's available as paperback or free online.

I hope that helps a little
