Hey kids.

I'm looking to get back into some real live programming. I've doodled around with Objective-C and got a reasonable handle on it and can do boring things like make calculators.

What I really wanna do is get (back) to OpenGL programming, specifically video games.

I'm just having trouble getting going - I feel overwhelmed and probably just need a push. I've been doing PHP for about 3 years now, and yearn to get back to a C-based language. Does anyone have a suggestion for:

- A nice programmer forum somewhere? The one at Apple the best?
- Some sample code? I've got all the sample code from Apple.
- A nice Hello World kind of guide. opengl.org?
- Some encouragement. It is friday afternoon now, and my brain is all softy and squishy.

I've been wanting to get into opengl for a while. I like NeHe's tutorials at http://nehe.gamedev.net/ .
For each tutorial there are multiple implementations at the bottom of the article, and usually there's a Cocoa implementation among the bunch.
I worked with the Cocoa code I found there for a while, but once I started to make some progress some bugs started popping up in my code that I couldn't seem to figure out so now I'm trying to start at it again.

Good Luck!
